Dear Parent/Carers,

As you are aware, Teign School prides itself on maintaining high standards of uniform/dress.

How to order:

Order forms are available from main office and can be submitted throughout the week. Orders can then be collected from main office on Wednesday mornings or purchases made from the P.E uniform

Pupils are expected to wear the official school uniform for the full five years they attend the school. The support of all parents is sought in maintaining this policy.

Girls Uniform:

*Pale blue poloshirt with Teign School logo - available from Teign School.

*Blue sweatshirt with Teign School logo - available from Teign School.

Black trousers (standard length and style) which should be pressed and well maintained. Or Black skirt (standard length and style). Jeans or combats are unacceptable.

Plain white or black socks or neutral tights. Black sensible, safe shoes. Trainers or boots are unacceptable.

Topcoat. 'Hoodies' are unacceptable.

Boys Uniform:

The wearing of school uniform ensures an acceptable standard of dress, helps preserve the good name of the school, minimises social distinctions and avoids the kind of expensive or extreme competition in appearance which can arise between pupils of secondary school age. Above all, it helps establish and maintain the identity of the school and pride in that identity. It is crucial that parents support the school in enforcing the school uniform.
